As I sit and watch the sunset
My thoughts are with you
Has time meant nothing to you at all
And why, after all we have been through

My thoughts are of the happy moments
The many of which, I had you to share
You seem so distant from me now
As if you don't even care

I tell you that I love you and need you
You say that you are so unsure of it all
You are waiting for an answer, from somewhere
You have feelings but you never call

I wonder why, I have fallen in love
It seems to always break my heart
With you I thought it would be different
It felt so good, right from the start

So now I sit here all alone in thought
Wanting to cry, but feeling I should not give way
For someday soon, you will see the love
I have I hope that it will make you stay

For you now have to give to thought
All the love and feelings that I can give
For you deserve that kind of love
A love for which, you need to live
