No one knows the pain I feel

No one knows the depths of my despair

No one know the strength it takes to heal

Sometimes life seems to flicker like a candle in the wind

Through it all we must find a power within

An inner strength to thrive and endure

Some people when hurt run and hide

Keeping their heart locked deep inside

Afraid to let anyone in, afraid to love again

I tried for awhile to live that way...

I learned that people are not meant to be alone

We all need love and companionship to feel at home

I will not give up the fight

I will keep taking the risk until I find what's right

I will go on risking and one day you will see

That there really is someone out there for me
